John Tony Gecaga Ngondo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing of John Tony Gecaga Ngondo, on 22nd July 2026, at The Nairobi West Hospital. JT Gecaga was the son of the late Arthur Ngondo Gecaga and the late Grace Njoki Ngondo. He was a beloved brother of the late Bernard Mwangi, the late Jane Kabutha, Becky Waigwe, Peter Mareka, David Waithaka, and the late James Kerago. He was a devoted husband of Catherine Wanjiru Gecaga and a loving father of Alex Ngondo Gecaga, Rosemary Njeri, Tony Giachuka Gecaga, and Wendy Njeri. Family, relatives, and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his residence in Kamiti Ridge, Kiambu County. There will be a requiem mass at Holy Family Mugumo Parish, on Wednesday, 29th July 2026, at 5:00 pm. The cortege will leave KU Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, 31st July 2026, at 7:00 am, for the funeral service at St. Anne Catholic Church, Gathinja, starting at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at the Gathinja Home. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
